    • Just a word of caution. Has this happened to other stitchers? I purchased a kit from The Stitchery in Dec. 2007 and did not realize that I had "opted" for a trail membership that was supposed to give me a discount. I never received my discount or "membership kit" but I was charged $10 a month for 6 months until I realized what was happening. Now The Stitchery says it is not responsible and the place that was charging my card is not responsible so I guess I am out of $60 just for ordering a kit. Please be careful when ordering on-line. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Ann

    • Hi everyone! I have a somewhat odd request--my grandmother has been working on a cross stitch stocking but has lost the top half of the pattern and has, as a result, been doing her best to work from the picture included in the packaging. I thought that someone out there somewhere may have the same pattern and be able to copy it/scan it/make it available somehow so that we can get the rest of the pattern and make life a bit easier for her. The stocking is by Needle Treasures (JCA, Inc) and is called "Little Angel Stocking", design number 08540. It would be really great if we didn't have to buy a whole new kit just for the one missing sheet, so if anyone out there is willing or able to help we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for reading :)

    • Hi fellow post-ers! I found an ice cream design that I MUST have on ebay, and am wondering if anyone knows the designer or where to find it. I'm thinking it was probably published in a magazine, perhaps Leisure Arts. Please look at item 270252448225 on ebay and let me know if you recognize it. I have e-mailed the seller and hope she/he might respond (but perhaps not, since I just want the pattern!). Thanks in advance! cat_baker_2000@yahoo.com

    • Several years ago, (as in around 30), I bought a perpetual calendar pattern that was Scandanavian. I can't find it and my friend wants to do one. Anybody have one? It has numbers on one of the pulls and months with pictures on the other. Any ideas like copying the calendar or something? I've changed several of the pictures.

    • Looking for a counted cross stitch kit that was sold back in the mid 90's entitled "Roots and Wings". The saying went "There are two things you can give your children....one is roots and the other is wings". It had two adults birds and one baby bird. I stitched this piece and unfortunately lost it when we had a house fire in 1995. There is a Janlyn kit with butterflies similar to what I am looking for....but it would mean everything to me to find this original kit. If anyone is familiar with it, please let me know.

    • Need cross stitch pattern for pastor's office and also one for an avid scrap booker. Thank you,
  • Carol from Florida -- Jun 26, 2008
    • I took a counted cross stitch class called "100" needles. You started at the top of the pattern and worked across each row, using a needle for each floss. There was a special way you were suppose to place the needles at end of row, to allow ease in going back across the row--but I can't remember. Has anyone ever heard of this method?

    • I would like a kit called Kisses (a little girl with an Amish-like bonnet/hat on kissing a rabbit). Love Notes series - Kit #8306, Discontinued 2002. I saw it 2003 when I purchased ( Soft Feathers Kit #8317). Happy to swap if you want the picture of the boy holding the duckling. I made the boy one into a sampler for my son and would like to do the girl one for my daughter now. Will pay costs.

    • Help! I have just finished a picture and want to have it framed. However, there is only about an inch of space all around which I don't think is enough for framing. How can I add extra fabric before taking to the framer? The local cross stitch shop has gone out of business, so I can't get any help there, and I can't find any answers on Google.

    • I am looking for a Lanarte Kit or chart, (counted cross stitch). The design is a heart shaped wreath with fruit on it (apples, pears, plums and cherries)It is from the life style collection and measures 37cm x 32cm. It has long been discontinued and I first saw it around 1992. Even if someone has stitched the kit and would just sell the chart. I have stitched a circular wreath with flowers from the same collection and would love to have them both. (I still have the Circular Wreath chart if anyone is interested). Any help would be appreciated.

    • I am looking for a butterfly to make for my daughter's room for her birthday. I thought I had found one, but it turned out to be a lot smaller than I thought. I am looking for just a butterfly (no background) that is at least 80x80. Can anyone help? Thanks!
