    • I have been looking for a pattern for 3 days now, no luck. The pattern is Remembering Mom 2, by Shari Langley. It is the design of Marilyn Monroe, white skirt blowing up while she is standing on a subway grate. It is a full color design and I am missing one piece. I contacted the number I had for Shari Langley and she no longer lived there. Help me please.

    • I do counted cross stitch for hire. Do you have a project that you started and never finished or never started at all and would love to have it completed? I have been stitching for over 30 years and would love to help you out. I was a Ghoststitcher for a while until the company went out of business. I can do most anything and have pictures of past work and references. If you are interested, you can email me at sppuff@sbcglobal.net. I would love to hear from you.

    • Any suggestions where to find counted cross-stitch patterns of famous artists? I used to order from Uncharted Territory but that site is no longer available. I find that the patterns from Cross Stitch Collectibles do not adapt to pillow-size in 16-count. Plus, I just completed a HUGE one from them and the finished colors in no way relate to the original painting. Any suggestions as to a site similar to Uncharted Territory?

    • Need help with caption maker. It is a rather long verse a friend originally had it charted by a company which sent her the chart from crosstitch.com. The notes from the person who did the chart indicates 160 tall x 130 wide and to cut fabric 18"tall and 16" wide. They used Font #3 and 14 count fabric. How do I find the center to start stitching the design? Also, when I charted it on caption maker I used 14 and also 16 count fabric. It comes out as four pages, which I believe means I need to cut and paste the word endings for the various lines. Also, it cuts into the middle of a line so the top and bottom of one line are on two different pieces of the chart. So I will need to match that up as well The 16 count version left off a line at the end even thought it shows on the copy. Thank you for your consideration. I can send you the two charts if that would help.

    • I have over 20 counted cross-stitch patterns that I have completed and would like to provide to anyone...free except for postage. They range from Christmas Stockings to Matisse. Van Gogh, Renoir, Waterhouse. All are complete charts/color, symbol keys and in excellent condition. I only ask that they all be sent at one time...simply too much trouble to send individually. Please e-mail if you are interested.

    • I am looking for a pattern. My sister started something and I would like to finish it. It is an Amish pattern. At the top is a quilt in each corner. There are spools of thread along the sides. Then there are two Amish girls. Below them she started on the left putting a quilt. There a saying in it as well. At the top is says: Whatever time I am afraid...... then at the bottom it says....I turn to you. My sister has passed away and it would mean a lot to me to find the pattern and finish this piece. I have looked through all her things and just can't find it. Thanks so much for your help!

    • I'm looking for the title of a book from the 1970, I think. It was a "break the rules" type of cross stitch. Stitches aren't the same size or in a row. Little stices & big stiches combine to make a free form picture. One exercise she had in the book, along with pictures of what her students did with it, was to create a picture of a scarecrow. I hope someone remembers this book. My local library no longer has it.

    • I have the pattern for "Downton Abbey". I purchased the kit and have finished my cross stitch. Easy to stitch. I made a working pattern and the original pattern is in excellent condition. If anyone would like this pattern I will mail it to you for $5 which will cover postage. The first stitcher that emails me will receive this pattern.

    • I have a Gold Collection Counted Cross Stitch Kit entitled "Winter Lace". It is not the one with the wolves, but the one with the Victorian couple and house. I want to sell it but I have no idea on how much to place as a starting bid on Ebay. Does anyone know where you go to figure this out or know how much the kit is worth. It is dated 2003.

    • I have two questions: 1.) I bought pattern I liked and it has following note: "Use two skeins of floss for the cross stitches." What does that mean? I was able to googled pretty much everything else, but still don't understand this one. 2.) Why do I have to separate strands? People I know who stitch don't separate them. Is there much difference in result and what it is?

    • I was wanting to add names and a wedding date on my piece.I have cross stitched the picture and now I am trying to figure out how to get the names on there. Should I just back stitch them on or trace the names with a marker and cover it up with the thread? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

    • I'm trying to figure out some math. .. my brain is fried and I'm trying to determine what is the half of 2 3/4". Can anyone who is a pro of stitching (I'm not a novice, but not an advanced stitcher) answer me or better yet, point me in the direction to find the answer myself. Yours is the third site I looked at. I got to 1 1/4" on each side but the last 1/4" had me stumped. ... oh wait.... the half of that becomes 1/8", right? So it becomes 1 2/3"? Right? *sigh* math is not my strongest quality. Most of the time is straight forward. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    • Fruitful Life From Leisure Arts Book - #3054 by Paula Vaughan has a pattern with a blue bowl of apples on the table and barn in the back ground. Does anyone know if you can get just that one pattern out of that book. Or do I have to buy the whole pattern book?

    • I like dark dragon/gothic fairy/fantasy patterns, but they all seem to be very big - they would all take months/years to finish I guess. I went through this whole site and some others and even bought one, but would like to try to finish something smaller at first. Does anyone know where to find such smaller similar looking patterns? Examples of what I liked: http://www.crosstitch.com/search?f=104MI16610 or http://witchykittdesigns.com/WKD/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=683 or http://www.artecy.com/the-sea-serpent-cross-stitch.html

    • I've noticed several of the designs that I would really like to do are by Tereena Clark and marked as Advanced. If any of you have done these advanced designs, could you please tell me what to expect as I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for them or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    • Hi Marv, just want to say thank you for the opportunity to convert text to stitches. I've been doing some of Ursula's Xstitch charts, and often there are spellings that are not our Cdn versions, so fortunately by using your site, I can now convert the words I want. Sometimes, it takes some extra counting to fit it all in, but you offer such a variety of styles and sizes, there's always one that works. Thanks for always thinking of us.

    • Trying to decide what my next project will be. I love to cross stitch I've been doing it for over 25 years or longer. Presents for wedding, birthdays, Christmas and babies, etc. So I thought I would get some help. What was your best or prettiest cross stitch picture you did? Something that makes you smile just looking at it.
