To Esther in RI, Thanks for the information. So, if my project is 12 x 7 then I would need 16 x 11 inches for the material, right? What size frame would I need if I were framing it without a mat board? -- Linda Delcamp from Brighton, MI

- I prefer after so many years to tell you that I add 4 inches to the size of the design of the pattern for framing. Good luck -- Esther from RI from -- Mar 21
- Yes I add 4 inches to the frame with a board or else. -- Esther from RI from -- Apr 19

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
