Message:
Can anyone out there remember a cross stitch chart called "Bindweed" with a picture of the finished cross stitch framed as a fire-screen. It was featured in an old magazine but heaven knows which one. Any clues would be much appreciated as I am desperate to track it down again. Thank you Sue -- sue from wiltshire uk

- Sue I am one that loves to look for things to help people and do you know what the pictured looked like. I looked up Bindweed and it gave me many charts but not sure what the actual chart looked like. If you can shed some light I may can find it . -- Meme from NC -- Mar 24
- What a kind offer of help. I actually have the chart, given to me as a very old magazine cutting, but it uses colours only, no symbols, and the colours have faded so much that they are indistinguishable. The donor could not remember which magazine it had come from. It's all done in green, cream and white shades on a beige background, and is titled "Bindweed" with a top heading "Something Special". Further text says it was based on a painting by Frances Durose. It is on quite shiny paper. I don't think we can post pictures on this message board can we? Sue -- sue from wiltshire uk -- Mar 24
