Hi! I bought 3 Cross Stitch Collectibles fingertip towels at a thrift store recently--you know, the ones with the 14 count border. They are brand new with tags. I used these years ago, but I can't remember if they should be washed before or after crossstitching the border. They are so stiff. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- Madeline from Garland, Texas

- Usually you wash them after you cross stitch them.If no design then I guess its ok to wash them..otherwise if a design on them ,,,do not wash til the design is done -- debbie from ky -- Feb 01

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
