I love to do cross stitch, but it is hard for me to see the fabric holes. I was considering either getting a magnifier that you clip on to your frame or the MagEyes that you wear like a visor so I can see the stitching better. Has anyone ever used any of these items, do you like them and what do you like about them? What do you recommend that I use? Also considered using readers that you can buy at a $ store, but not sure of what strength to get. I am using a 3.0 right now to work on the computer and they are o.k. Should I get maybe a 3.5? -- Linda Delcamp from Brighton, MI

- I haven't had to resort to magnifiers yet, but I think it is coming. I don't think I would like the magnifier that attaches to the frame, unless it is a floor model. It has limited use, in my opinion. I know a couple of ladies who use the Mag Eyes type and like them. As for the readers, you will have to experiment. Have you seen the advertisement in the stitching Magazines for magnifiers that work with your prescription? I, personally, have not checked it out, but it sounds like a good idea. About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
