Trying to decide what my next project will be. I love to cross stitch I've been doing it for over 25 years or longer. Presents for wedding, birthdays, Christmas and babies, etc. So I thought I would get some help. What was your best or prettiest cross stitch picture you did? Something that makes you smile just looking at it. -- Debra from Avon, IN

- When my first nephew married in the early 80s, I made the couple Christmas stockings from quilted yardage and I cross stitched the cuff with a first name on the front and their wedding date on the back. As the babies were born, they each got a stocking with their birthdate on the back. Tommy was the oldest of 8 and all his siblings got stockings upon marriage and I've continued with all their kids and grandkids! My other brother's kids/grandkids as well. :) Most of the stockings are still in use - I'm a family tradition!!! Makes me smile AND get a lil misty. Thanks for letting me share. -- Emma from Los Angeles -- Aug 07
- I have been cross stitching for over 40 years- started in Indiana, my first kit was printed in Swedish and I had to figure it out from the diagrams! I have made many "favorites" over these years, but recently I stitched "Victorian Roses" that I purchased on this website- it is so lovely. Took me a long time to finish, but it is a masterpiece. -- Laura from Pomona Park, FL -- Aug 09

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
