- You can use a product called waste canvas. It comes in a variety of counts - 10, 14 etc. You baste it onto the apron and stitch as normal. Then when done, wet the piece and pull out the canvas threads. Not sure if Michaels or JoAnns have it but it can be ordered from 123stitch.com. -- Jan in AZ from Sun City -- Nov 03
- THANK YOU!! Appreciate the help! -- Peggy Jeffries from Clovis, CA. -- Nov 04
- Waste canvas is a lot of fun to use. Just be careful that when you dampen it to remove the threads to NOT over-dampen it or the glue it's made with will make it all stick together and make the threads hard to remove (with tweezers). Have fun! -- Sue from WA USA -- Nov 04

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
