- Hi Yvonne, the Caption Maker centering seems to work for everyone. If you can email me with more details or what you're entering and which font, etc. I would be happy to look into it further. Thanks. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Oct 10
- I go to caption maker and then to text only. Font #13 and the name CORUCO and 6 in. width. After I create my pattern the U in in the center and most of the letters are to the left. -- Yvonne from California -- Oct 10
- 50 is supposed to be the center right? -- Yvonne from California -- Oct 10
- If you're using 14 count, 6 inches is 84 stitches so the center is 42 stitches. Centering is mostly used for multiple lines of text. For one word you might want to just count the stitches to determine where you want it to be placed. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Oct 10
- Marv how do you figure that out? I thought this program would center it is 50 by itself. Thanks for your help. -- Yvonne from California -- Oct 11
- If you need 50 to be be the center then you can enter the width at 100 stitches (not 6 inches). I think for 1 word though I wouldn't use the 'center' function at all, and then you will see exactly how many stitches wide your word is. To find the center then just divide that width by 2. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Oct 11

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
