I'm stitching a map that uses a lot of backstitching to outline. Do you always use the holes in the aida cloth, or can you sometimes do a stitch of less than 45 degrees and goes between the holes? -- Susan Whitver from ChenoaIL

- Hi Susan, I think you should try to stay in the holes but if necessary you can go into the center of a square as well. Skipping over a square or 2 to be less than a diagonal is done quite often also. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Nov 14

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
