Need help with caption maker. It is a rather long verse a friend originally had it charted by a company which sent her the chart from crosstitch.com. The notes from the person who did the chart indicates 160 tall x 130 wide and to cut fabric 18"tall and 16" wide. They used Font #3 and 14 count fabric. How do I find the center to start stitching the design? Also, when I charted it on caption maker I used 14 and also 16 count fabric. It comes out as four pages, which I believe means I need to cut and paste the word endings for the various lines. Also, it cuts into the middle of a line so the top and bottom of one line are on two different pieces of the chart. So I will need to match that up as well The 16 count version left off a line at the end even thought it shows on the copy. Thank you for your consideration. I can send you the two charts if that would help. -- Elizabeth from South Carolina

- Hi Elizabeth, if you're having trouble visualizing the multiple pages you might want to cut and tape them all together. If you enter 160 stitches as the width, the center is at 80 stitches. When you're stitching just words I really don't think it's a good idea to start in the center anyway. You should start at the top left and stitch each word as they are written so that you don't make any mistakes. Unless you're entering a size in inches it won't make any difference at all what count you enter, that just lets us calculate what your finished size will be. If you have more questions it's probably best if you emailed me. Thanks. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Oct 22

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
