Message:
My cousin and I both have huge cross stitch pictures (they form a set), done by our great grandmothers in the 1800s as young girls. As both our mothers are not well and in their 90s, so they will soon pass to us. I had heard through Antiques Roadshow a long time ago that there is a "cross stitch" museum -- I think Kansas. Does anyone have any information or contact information on such a museum? -- Lynn Whitacre from USA

- I tried a Google search for 'cross stitch museum'. There are a few you may be interested in. M. -- Maria from UK -- Jan 23

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
