- Does anyone have info on German embroidery ? I saw some done using a hypodermic needle and one stand of DMC floss. The needle had an extra hole punched in it and all the work is done from the back of the fabric.

- I'm an American living abroad. I am looking for two patterns about 2 years old, possibly British or US in origin. They are backstitch-style representations of Krakow, Poland landmarks, St Mary's Basilica and Wawel Castle/Cathedral. They were one or two colors only, black and a sienna brown sort of color for shading. Possibly appeared on the cover of The Magic of Cross Stitch but cannot recall.

- Does anyone have a bibliography or a list of all the Christmas cross-stitch patterns that Charles Ross produced? I have seen people looking for "Rene- who is skating." I don't have this one. I can't find anything about Ross himself on the internet. I just wonder how many patterns there are he designed.

- Any ideas how to remove a "stamped" pattern from white cotton? I bought a stamped cross stitch kit and the pattern has blue ink markings outside of the pattern. I have tried washing to remove, but ink remains.

- I bought a while back, some Charles Craft finger tip towels and they has such a loose weave they are hard to stitch. Any suggestions on how to tighten up the weave so they can be used? I have washed and dryed them and it didnt help. Thanks Sue.

- About 20 years ago my Grandma stiched (from a kit) a Christmas stocking (14 ct Aida) with dalmation puppies and a fire truck/ladder on it.
