- Any number of patterns can be stitched on colored fabric. If you want to try one, just do a Google search for free Christmas cross stitch patterns. Print one out and stitch it. Some people have trouble stitching on the darker fabrics but you won't know if you like it unless you actually stitch on some. Go for it. -- Ann from S MS -- Aug 26
- There are some patterns by "Handblessings" that use one color of thread for the pattern. These cute charts are for holidays and easy to stitch. Just Google "Handblessings" and check out their patterns. For the red fabric you could use black or green floss, same with the green fabric. -- Ann from Vinton, VA -- Sep 12

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
