I want to cross-stitch stockings for my 2 children (now 23 and 20). I have the patterns from my Cross Stitch and Country Crafts magazines which I have saved all these years - LOL. My question is one of the patterns says to use a 14" X 20" Lugana 25 ct. fabric and states "not recommended for Aida fabric". I wanted to use 14 ct. Aida. I've never used the Lugana fabric. Can anyone provide me with info on why it wouldn't be wise to use Aida Fabric? and why Lugana would be better. Appreciate any info. Thank you! -- Barb from Pinehurst, NC

- Are they saying 25 count ..over two? Then I think it is possible there are several 1/4 stitches. These are not as easily done on Aida..but they can be done if Aida were your choice. -- Aleida from Ontario -- Feb 09

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
