I'm afraid I've been spoiled by all the beautiful cross stitch magazines and now prefer only to work with colored patterns. Is there a way to add color to the black and white PDF's from this site? I'm willing to put in the time to select each square and add the color (although I don't know why they can't offer a color option, I'd pay a little more for that!) -- Sorchafyre from Burlington, Iowa

- Hi Sorchafyre, I cannot speak for other Designers on this website but if any customer purchases one of our Artecy Cross Stitch designs and you would like a version with coloured squares behind the symbols just email Marv to request this and he will let me know and I will send coloured versions through, no extra charge. - A few of our designs are in color. Unfortunately the PDF format can't be altered so it's not possible to add color to the existing PDFs. -- Marv Schier from Crosstitch.com -- Feb 11

About Copyrights:
Copyright patterns may not be copied and given to someone else. It's against the law and it's dishonest. On the Internet, one copy can quickly turn into one million which basically takes away the need for people to buy the patterns, which puts the designers out of business. You can give away, trade, or sell the original leaflet though.
In the case of Crosstitch.com patterns, which are by subscription, all patterns are for the members personal use only and may not be given away or re-distibuted in any manner.
