"I have been stitching your pattern of the collie. Today when my 9 year old granddaughter was here I saw her pick up my stitching frame, and hold it on her lap looking at it for the longest time. Then I saw her reach out and gently stroke the picture. I asked her what she was doing. She said 'oh Grandma, this is the most beautiful thing you have ever stitched. You made it look so real that I felt like I had to pet it.' I told her that I couldn't take credit for that as all I did was follow the pattern. I said the credit for that went to the guy that designed the pattern. She looked at me with that look of wide eyed wonder still on her face, and said 'Oh Grandma I wish I could tell him that he's AWESOME.' I told her that I would pass that along to you."
